Webb7 aug. 2024 · The existing switch switches 2 separate lights & also an extraction fan. I've attached a picture of the old wiring & the new switch which I've marked up with letters & numbers. Could someone please advise which numbered wire on the old switch goes to which letter on the new switch. Many thanks, Martyn. I assumed you would be able to control it by one switch - the cord on wall lamp or the button on the mirror.

WebbI have a bathroom extractor fan and ceiling light linked to one pull switch. Last week, the extractor fan stopped working (while light was still on). Yesterday, the light also went off after a couple of minutes of being turned on. WebbYou'll find lots of lights, even from lighting shops, which will not have the correct colours. Have a look at the box and check the IP rating. If that's fine, then you should be all good. Blue and Brown are the correct colours, by the way. It is just the yellow that is incorrect. The wiring in your house has the old colours (pre 2006).
