Scrooge wishes he was able to help Bob Cratchit more by raising his money to provide the right treatment for Tiny Tim. Scrooge vows to change and help people for the better. This allows him to be able to be a happier and generous person. This book shows that people are capable of great change. It does not matter how grumpy or cheap a person is. Everyone can change.
